Stainless braided radiator hose.

Does anyone know how a permanent bend can be formed in stainless braided hose like the one in this pic. I've seen ones that hang down in a shallow bend. This guy made this nice bendy one with AN16 braided hose. I like the bend in it, similar to the stock. Any idea how he did it? I was wondering why it doesn't hang in a shallow U. Nice carbon side cover too.

That is undoubtedly SS braided sleeve over the stock hose. The sleeves are available at Auto Zone or Spectre Performance for a fraction of the cost of actual AN SS hose.

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

Yep you are right Rob. I went looking for the post that image came from. Turns out the hose is sleeved. Looks like if you want to keep the bends you have to sleeve a stock hose. I have a couple of spare hoses including a silicon hose, so I will order some braided stainless sleeving, 32mm? and have a go at a spare hose. I think you just hide the cut ends under the hose clamps. I'm using Norma clamps which are wider than the stock clamps so should cover ends well enough.
I like the look of the stainless braided hose just don't go too much on the hanging straight down look. The bends in the stock hose look better. I'm going for the black and silver look on my bike, put up a pic once I'm done.
