Sliders 2.0 armored riding pants

I've been wearing Draggin Jeans for that last couple of years, but I've been looking for quite some time for armored pants in shorter inseams, found these:

404 - Page Not Found

mine came in today and my initial impression is wow!!! These have Kevlar in the knees and seat, but also have three position CE armor in the knees as well as hip padding and zippers in the front of the thighs that can be held open by zipcords to flow air, as well as a zip out liner that I can't imagine using above 20. I wear 29" pants, ordered the "short" and they fit great, fit and finish look superb. My opinion might change after a long ride, but right now i couldn't be happier, especially at 129.00

Sliders Kevlar Waterproof Quest 2.0 Pants - Competition Accessories

had my first ride with the new pants; they are great... I was concerned as they are so heavy duty that they felt hot when I was gearing up, but once moving, the air through the thigh vents was more than enough while sitting, and if I stood up on the pegs it was downright chilly. The temp ws approx 60 when I started around noon, may have heated up a little during the ride, but was never uncomfortable. The knee pads seemed to ride a little low when walkaing around the house, but were perfect while riding; I did approx 150 miles today on the 919 and never felt the need to adjust them once. For size reference; I wear a 36 or 38 waist with a 29" inseam, so I bought the large/short... the waist is adjustable up or down with the velcro belts, and the length is about perfect, covering the top of my Vega boots when riding, but not dragging or sagging while walking. I don't think that you would want to wear these as over pants, as they are heavy duty, much more than the equivalent Tourmaster Venture. I would buy them again in a New York minute, finally feel protected from the waist down against abrasion AND impact...
