Route Ideas - Dover, DE to Ogdensburg, NY

I will be taking all day Monday for a ride back home from Seaford, Delaware, just South of Dover. I don't want to take all of the normal route that we take in the car.

Does anyone have any suggestions for all or any part of the ride? I want to cross in Ogdensburg, NY.

Do you really want to extend in 8hr drive? I would say find some fun on the back roads in Penn once you get past Philly and Allentown. Once you get in to Syracuse, Ny turn right and head to Rome/Utica take 26 up to Lowville and play on other back roads up to Ogdensburg. Great farm country up there. Upstate is full of history and character.

Lucky me. Rain is forecasted for the whole ride home Monday.

I'm still going to go off the beaten path a bit, so still open to more suggestions to add to Dave's.

Btw - for anyone interested, I tried this blog thing in the blog section, rambling about my ride. I will add more as I go.
