Rider down

A friend of mine was shot and killed yesterday in front of his family's home. He was outside with his new bike when 4 spineless pricks tried to steal it.

We served together during our first tours and met in passing during our second. Survive all that bullshit just to get killed for a motorcycle. I don't even know how to respond.

That is tragic! That is horrible.... I am so sorry to learn about this. Two tours and to be killed in front of his home. I hope they find those guys.

RIP - My sincere condolences and sympathies to his family and to all who knew.

No words exist to console you now except that you've placed the memory of your friend in the hearts of others and they will say prayers for him and his family and friends.....like you.

Wow thats really shitty. Sorry for the loss. Isn't is amazing how little life is valued in this world. I really hope they find the guys and do unspeakable acts. No weakass prison sentences. Either hang, draw and quarter them, or firing squad. Bastards. Again, Sorry for your loss.

Thanks for the kind words guys. His dad killed one the bastards and wounded another who is in the hospital. A third just turned himself in so it's just a matter of finding his friend. Keep your heads on straight, when it's your turn, you seldom get much notice.

Sorry about your friend. Sounds like things are getting out of control around there. Hope it's cleaned up before more needless acts occur.

I feel for this family, I to am a vet, been in both gulf wars, did a stint in Afganistan, and it just tears at my heart to see this.

And the comments at the bottom who want to still advocate GUN CONTROL in all of this, Hey Chicago, how is that GUN Control working for you? When the perps will gun down cops with let guess here.......Legal guns? Hell no, the bad guys are going to have guns if they want them, and THEY WANT AND CARRY THEM.

I am glad that retired police officers can own guns inside the city still, only iff that were extended to Veterans, Law abiding citizens, ect..............it will cut down on crime, it is proven in every state to impliment CCW Permits. I live in Florida, a CCW Issue state, come steal my motorcycle and see if I apply my second amendment rights.

Now back to the family, I feel for you, and my condoloences to you at this time of sorrow.

Oh man, thats horrible!

To serve ones country then die over a recreational vehical that some one wants is beyond my comprehenision.

as to 'why' and even 'how' a human can act this way, one can only guess.

RIP...

Well, the good news is they have all 4. #3 turned himself in later that day, and #4 was caught in a traffic stop. Now to just dust off "the chair"....

Some members of my unit are LEO's down in southern WI and we are waiting to get the the details on how everything went down.

Thanks again for all the kind words

I'm just seeing this. RIP fellow service member and rider. At least his father got one of them and wounded another. Glad to hear the picked the others up too.

Let his old unit have them. They could use them to set off IEDs before the convoys come close to them. Sorry guys but it just hits that special cord in my heart. Survive combat in country only to get gunned down in your own.
