Possible my 919 will be up for sale or part out ....

Hey everyon,

For the first time ever I am contemplating selling or parting out my highly modified 919.

I didn't get much riding time last year on the street. I have a dirt bike now and friends I trail ride with often and the VW Westfalia camper i restored that takes up all our vacation time and my modd money.

I have a few friends at work that know the bike well and the time and effort that went into it who are interested. But since it is so highly modded and has a "rebuilt/salvage" title its value on the kijiji/craigslist isn't really worth me selling it to just anyone.

I would be interested in selling it here OR I am contemplating parting it our here on the forum so that I know the parts and pieces will be put to good use.

Anyway food for thought and just hoping to get some feedback. I may make the mistake of taking it out for a ride this spring and keeping it forever ..... hard to say.

Cheers,
Ian

The mod list is to long for me to recall off the top of my head. Here is a pic for now at least.

NICE NICE NICE

If you decide to part out I'd like to call dibs on the front end :P I just want to transplant your front end to my 2002 so whatever parts I need to do that, I'll take (suspension, wheels, triple tree if necessary etc)

Perhaps the rear wheel too, so it matches with the front :P

I'm located in Vancouver Canada so delivery will have to be ironed out :P

I'm heavy breathing...

There is a lot going on in the front end .... RC51 forks, RC51 wheel, RC51 rotors, CB1000R triples, CBR600RR fender, renthal mids, CBR929 calipers, CBR929 master, shorty levers, braided lines, Koso RX2n cluster, Rob fuel indicator mod, CB599 headlight and a buell M2 windscreen. Everything is matched in satin powder coat or wrapped in CF vinyl.

Helimech's bike begs to be bought complete.
I suggest you consider buying it and selling your present 919.

I will admit that I do have an ulterior motive.
I am running out of warehouse space, and if he ends up parting it out, who knows what will left over that I won't have room for!

Seriously, his bike is a top shelf build that's been expertly executed - just like anything else he lays his hands on.

Yes, that could be something.

Only issue is that we are literally on the opposite sides of the Canada lol
AND
My bike is currently in bad shape, cosmetically, since it was stolen and it's super scratched and my tail is of a different colour than the tank... So selling it would be really hard, close to impossible since ppl don't really know the value of this bike, not here in Vancouver anyway... Hence why i'd prefer a direct swap and I could worry about the cosmetics at a later time.

HeliMech you have done a wonderful job on that bike. It is a superb looking machine. That white and black look cool in that winter landscape. All looks very exotic to me.

Don't take that bike apart.

One of these days, you're going to wish you had it back. I wouldn't sell it.

Dude, just need to add my voice to others' here - that's a rainbow-coloured unicorn you've got there, don't slice it up for dog tucker...it's got to stay in one piece...and preferably at your place.

It's under a dust-cloth in a corner of his garage, end of story.
