Do I know you??

I like where they say if you can't pick it up by yourself, to lay down next to it so someone will stop and help you.

BRAVO SILVER ! I can verify this method works. My msf instructor was going to volunteer her harley bagger to teach us this but never got around to it.

Last day and graduation came around and I said, "Hey, what about picking up the bike." And immediately volunteered my nighthawk to be the fallen so anyone could practice. Few watched, no one attempted, so the instructor taught me. Now when I see someone about to suck a nut trying it the wrong way, I can say STOP ! let me show you sump'n.

Again, Bravo, silver.

There is a older lady that goes by Skirt that goes around showing people how to do this and she uses all kids of different bikes.
Everyone that rides should know how to do this, if not to pick up your own bike but to help others pick up theirs.

Paul

Live to ride, but ride to ride another day!
