Ordered some new exhaust?!!?

Ordered a set of DanMoto carbon fiber pipes tonight, with new removable baffles. Did alot of review searching on all kinds of different bike forums. Seems like most where pretty happy with there results. Will post pics and review. Paid 226.xx shipped from there website direct. Can't beat the price. Here's hoping for the best.

Good luck. Make some sweet soundclips when they get here and let us all share in the fun.

Here is a link to all my PCIII maps I've collected. I would try the Moriwaki map (mw919mori4.map), or the 919satonew1 or 919satonew2.

My personal map is the G00gl3it's map - 919 900rr header / scorpion can, 5k feet elevation. It was dyno tuned at the Honda shop. Not sure how it would affect your bike, but you're free to try it out. It is at least leaner than stock, which is good.

Thanks for the maps. Hopefully this turns out good. Little worried about exhaust only costing 226 bucks but the Chinese seemed to have upped there game on quality. They make the Iphone so who knows.

the only thing i would have concern for with the danmoto exhausts is noise! Their OD is so small and their ID is huge = not very much muffling.

they sure do look good tho!

Aside from possibly being too noisy, the main downside for the 919 is the length. They are way too short!! It messes up the look of the rear end, especially if you still have the stock fender (even if cut). I see you have the fender removed, so this comment is more for others considering Danmoto.

Also, it is sure to make the smell even more noticeable if you have a stinky 919.

To make them look better you might want to do what this owner did with the fender/platemount/signals:

I emailed Danmoto and asked if they would do one the same length as every other 919 slip-on (close to stock length) and he said no. Too bad, because they would sell a lot of these at their prices. btw - their prices on ebay went way up several months ago. They used to be even cheaper!

Please post a review after you get them. We're all curious.

So exhaust came today, was out to lunch so all I got was a memo from the post with attempted delivery. Look forward to a in depth review of DanMoto in the coming days. What would you all like to know and see??
