Hello everyone,
Just got an '07 919, really like it, very light & nimble.
Do you find a lower position is better for your over 50 body or is more upright more comfortable for a 2 or 3 hr ride. I'd like to change handlebars from chrome stock and am wondering if Rental Ultra Lows would be better than Lows or Mediums. What color did get?

I have the ulows and I personally feel like it's more comfortable at highway speeds since it leans you into the wind more. It's a little more aggressive at lower speeds though.

Even more of a reason for the ultra-low!

The UL's are decent bars, but for me at least they have to be rotated back excessively to get a livable pullback. That is one of the reasons why I came up with adjustable Thar Bars. Go here for my website: Thar Engineering - Home
And here for the thread on them: https://www.wristtwisters.com/forums...ble-23442.html.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

When I got my bike it had quite flat bars already in place, and even at 6'1", I found I had to use an up-and-back device to get them in the right place. Very happy with them now, though, have never had back issues on this bike.
