Interesting. I wonder if Progressive has something like this?

I like how the 1000RR has a better rating (lower rate) than a 600RR.

More 600 get sold there for more young squids to ride them and wreck them on the way home from the dealer, and they get stolen more often.

That doesn't make any damn sense whatsoever. A ruckus has higher ratings than a 919??? I think my brain just got a cramp.

I have heard that premiums north of the border are excessive.

Since in Florida insurance is not required, I rode the 919 for 6 years with no insurance. In the other hand, since the KTM parts are way more expensive, I did a full coverage on the Superduke for the whopping premiun of $70 a year....

When I first got my last 919, I called around and Progressive was the absolute lowest in my area. It was like $39 a month for totally FULL coverage, including Collision, Comprehensive, and all the others AND their Emergency Road Service included tows for a BIKE of up to 150 miles! It's only 10 miles for a car, but 150 miles for a bike!

$98 a year for basic coverage or $1200 a year for full coverage.... Only paid about $3k for the bike... Needless to say I've got minimal coverage. Just make sure to keep the rubber side down.
