Hey everyone, I'm looking at selling my 919 to get back on a cruiser due to old injuries, the 919 is too painful to ride for longer than about a half hour. That being said, I'm not sure where to price it.

I'm in the Chicagoland area. The bike is an 02, around 7k miles, fresh Cadillac pearl white paintjob, custom bars and controls, custom hid dual projector headlight, fender delete kit, ram mount, multicolor remote led kit, ek mvxz 520 conversion chain and superlite sprockets with less than 200 miles, new Pirelli angel gt tires on freshly powdercoated 900rr/cbr 6 spoke rims, custom belly fairing (hand laid fiberglass from germany, can't remember brand at the moment), blacked out swingarm and trim, danmoto carbon gp mufflers, anodized red motor case bolts. The front sprocket was changed with a -1 for more torque. There are no scratches or dents and it's in excellent condition. The only thing that I feel might affect price is the dash is missing, wouldn't fit with the modifications that have been done so I've been using my phone as a speedo on the rare occasions I take the bike out anymore. It's garage kept and always on a trickle charger.

What would be a reasonable asking price? I've attached a few pictures I found in my phone. I can add more recent pics if it would be more helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Most seem to be in the $2500 to $3500 range. I haven't seen a big increase for mods except maybe an aftermarket shock and seat. Seems like the 919 with mods doesn't appeal the same as just buying some 600cc gxr or whatever bike. I guess the market for the 919 is a bit different.

That's probably less that you expected to hear.

I think that at a certain point, modifications start to reduce the price you can get for a bike. Personally, I won't buy a used bike that's anything but stock. I don't think I'm alone in this philosophy. I'd much rather choose what modifications, if any, to make to my machine. I think you're in the $2000 - $2500 price range and you may have trouble getting that.

I think a huge turn off would be the missing ODO. There is no way to 'prove' that the bike only has 7k miles and not 70k miles.

Rats!! I missed the part about the instruments being missing. I think you're gonna have trouble selling that machine for anything close to what you have in it. Missing instruments is a really, really big negative feature, especially if you have to try to convince somebody what the odometer reading is.
