Good call on the 2 stroke. I'd have to find one too. They're fun to listen to.

And even more fun to ride ! Ther is NOTHING that sounds as good as a 2 stroke with some chambers being used in anger - except for maybe an Italian V Twin with a good exhaust on it !

BMW K1200GT
Vincent Black Shadow
One of the choppers Indian Larry made (just 'cause I think it's cool)

I seem to remember a thread like this not long ago, but I'll bite.

919 good all round bike
XB9R best sounding bike ever
EX250 it's fun to ride a bike that's lighter than a fat chick
Thruxton best looking bike ever
1089S so I could smash it with a sledge hammer (money is no object to me!)
KDX200 fun in the dirt

Benelli TNT 1130 Cafe Racer
Confederate F131 Hellcat Combat
1978 Honda CB550K - Gotta have back the first bike I owned
BWM K 1200 GT

I think that would do it for me. I'd probably get a dirt bike too, but at the moment I don't know crap about them, so I don't know which I'd want.

My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.

Bimota Tesi 3D, RZ 500, Kawasaki 2 stroke 750 triple engine in a modern chassis, Suzuki Wankel... just because! Oh yeah, one of those helicopter turbine deals that Jay Leno has.

i got really luck last year, i own a 1976 RE5 iwht 1496 orignal miles ! Got here fomr the original owner , he bought her on April 3, 1976 and didnt ride he r much at all. It still has the orignal tires on it, granted they are harda bricks, but they arent dry rotted up either . Its the winter project this year, the motor turns but the carb is in need of overhauling, as is the mster cyclinder. Ill see if i can find some pics -

Awwwwww, man. That sucks. I had no Idea I was watching such dated material.

I think I'll put him next to Carlin and Whoopi in my mind anyway.

Hmmm, I am a newer school of rider I guess,

'07 919, gotta start with what you got...
'03 954, for when I feel like dressing up
RC51, when I feel that 4 is 2 too many
Hypermotard, when I want to wheelie all the way to work
CR250
'01 R6, sweet bike.

Maybe one of those RCVs I see on TV every once and a while, but the 1000cc version, not the new 800.

800, HA, those are for girls!

Money no object? Here goes.
-- My '02 Honda 919 completely stock.
-- Suzuki GT 380 with a 3 into 1 exhaust built by Tommy Crawford -- just about the sexiest sound ever to come out of any motorcycle ever! (If you ever heard it, you'd agree)
-- A fully functional Honda RC 166 250 6 cylinder replica currently being offered by someone in England. I'll try to find more info on it. Last I heard they were going for $250,000.
-- The street converted short sroke Norton Manx I came within 1 hour of buying in 1976. Showed up with cash in hand, but someone beat me to it!

That would do it.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

I have never actually ridden the 750, only the 500. That 750 was nicknamed the Widowmaker... mainly because of a hair trigger power band and no stiffness or brakes to go with it. Imagine that motor in a CBR chassis!

Now that I have a 919 it is definitely staying. The others,
My old '85 Nighthawk S cause I'm nostalgic that way.
The NR750. Oval pistons, carbon fiber, cmon
That Honda X11 thing someone else mentioned. Looks awesome
The Honda Techno cruiser, if they ever build it
An RC211V for when I absolutely, positively have to get there yesterday.

Interesting, I must be a Honda guy.
