Honda 919 Gore

Imagining this being my bike makes me really angry. From what I've heard, the bike was backed into when parked and ridden over a bit as well. I personally don't think the bike is in bad enough condition to warrant being towed like this. Not a towing service I'd like to use.

The horror! I guess it's headed to the scrapyard, and that's the cheapest way to get it there?

My 9'er is long gone, but seeing that still hits a nerve.

I see a truck full of spare parts.
Follow it. Some freebies might fall off!

Its probably an insurance write off.

It's amazing that they can legally do that. There's no way that passes any legal test. Gas take upside down, dragging items...

That looks like a repo truck. Modern towing is a wheel lift of flatbed. Imagine parts flying off hitting drivers, lawsuits flying...

That doesn’t seem normal.

Repos and insurance write-offs are usually sold at auction. So you would assume they wouldn’t want any additional damage.

Don’t ask me how I know.
My total was loaded up on a flat bed.
It was still rideable so I rode it up onto the flat bed (ramped down) so he could strap it down.

I have one just like it that is taking up too much space around here...
