Headlight trigger installation?

European bikes have what I call a headlight trigger on the clutch side. My KTMs have them. It faces the front of the bike on the switch cluster. The knock out is already there. (Another cost cutting measure. Thank you, Beancounters)

It gets used, if you have it. Most guys here are modaholics anyway. This is something I would do. Has anyone done it? If so, details?

This is a pic of the knock out on my 599, which was made in Italy. Don't know if the Jap 919s have it or not.

I purchased a control and harness from a JDM 919 a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, the wire harness was a bit messed up

I'll look into it but the trigger goes all the way to the headlight.
