Found my old 919 after 7yrs!

Been a long time guys but I sold my 919 back in 2011 and had regretted it ever since. I'd even kept the spare key!
Fast forward to 6 months ago out of nowhere I had the feeling to look for it and after putting out the feelers on a few aussie facebook pages I was contacted by a guy who's mate had put up a hornet that matched my description, phone calls were made, numbers were checked and like Cinderella's slipper the spare key fit.
He mentioned a few people had come to look at it but knocked it back and I can see why. I feel the last few years she's been laid down ripping up the shaved tail and damaging the tank and cases followed by being left out in the weather. Rust had really set in on any thing it could, salt and road grime had never been washed off causing serious pitting on every thing it touched and just all round neglected. Dropped all fluids and i have never seen cold oil flow out like water or coolant the colour of orange juice!

Pic 2: The advert photo i found of it
pic3: Almost 4hrs of detailing and polishing. Needs a respray, re ceramic coating and various parts

That ceramic coating on the exhaust looks nice, I'm about to do mine too for the low exhaust... I wanted to do black, but it seems regular silver also looks good.

It might be better since my bike is blue...
From a time when it was clean.

A couple of years ago, I saw my old 04, 919. It was horrible.

It took me a little while to realize it used to be mine. It went from being Silver to red. The SS brake lines were a mess. It had a 190 rear tire, had some cheap mufflers. I don't think it'd been washed since I did it last. I can't remember what all..... but it was bad
