Female Motorheads!

Last weekend I went for a long ride up in the hills near Alice's. Many folks were out riding in the awesome weather. What really struck me was the high number of female riders (or petite dudes with long hair. ). That is so cool! Now I wonder what is driving this fantastic trend:
) Lack of good 2up bikes
) 2up Intercom technology
) Confirm their SO doesn't drink at the stops, and returns home
) They enjoy the essence of MC!

Given this growing market segment, the MFGs would be smart to design more bikes.

I have noticed a lot of female riders this year as well. I think it has to do with the introduction of bikes such as the Ninja 250's and CBR 125's. Great starter bikes.

I'm not a "motorhead" but I am enjoying my 14th riding season. I think the selection of bikes available is fine, but in my opinion, what is needed for the female riding population is a better selection of gear and accessories made for women, by women. I have a dream to design a female motorcycle gear line for real women riders of all sizes and ages. A line that would put Icon's Kitty gear to shame.

I understand that they have made huge advances in wearable clear plastic lately ..........

Bawahahahaha I jest with our female riding companions.

Bring em on I say - the more riders of both genders the better.

Actually I say the Wildcats had a tough day against the Cyclones. They almost lost to us.

The new coaching staff is making some pretty positive changes at ISU. Beating Nebraska last year in Lincoln was pretty impressive. Overall a good game and good showing by both teams.

There is a lot of wimmins riders in the St. Louis area. Everything from sportbikes to cruisers to Harleys to CanAm Spyders.

Some of them wimmins on them 600 plastic wonders will flat out lose you in corners then slow down in the straits and wait then stand and wiggle their ass at you before the next corner and you won't see that ass again until the next strait.

makes me want to go home and slap the wife and iffens I weren't afraid of her I would do it.

(Sure hope she doesn't read this board)

You guy's may think this is funny, but I dont care. I was rolling through the dragon, thought I was doing pretty good looked in my mirror and was getting crushed by a pair of cbr600. Let the group of two go pass and caught the two young blonde ladies at the overlook. They had thier helmet and jackets off by the time I caught up. (embarrassed) If they can ride, LET THEM!!!

I love meeting women that ride because they love to ride! Even if they aren't any good at it when they take a genuine interest in the sport & try, it just sits well with me...

What I don't like are the women that have no skill and no desire to improve their riding ability or knowledge of the sport, but dress up in pink and make it a point to insure that everyone knows they are woman to gain as much attention as they can.

Watching them ride and riding with them is good even if all they want is attention. But deep cleavage makes it very hard to concentrate.

Look at the holding far right in that pic. They should throw a flag, and it should be a nighty.

The women you describe piss my wife off to no means. For one they are the reason it is nye impossible for her to find stuff that isn't mostly pink or extremely feminine in nature. She's not the kind to wear pink say's she has enough pink on when she's naked.

Ever mention I love my wife.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

My wife is similar in that respect, but she doesn't wear pink simply because she doesn't want to alert any other riders on the track that she is female. Guys get really butt-hurt when they get passed by a woman and then they do something stupid to get back around the offending female to show her who's boss so it's like painting a target on her back really. She even wears mens leathers...

My wifes not that good of a rider and I don't think she'll eer be passing most ment on a track. She just wanted a motorcycle since she was a kid. Albeit she has been looking at the men's stuff lately not just because it fit's her taste's more but because apparently every good looking women on a bike put's out and is a piece of meat to ogle whistle and harass. For their safety she has decided it would be better to not be known as a women on a bike. I say Their safety not just because I am the jealous type but because she's the girl that knocked out more than one guys teeth during her middle and high school day's And beleive you me she'll do it again given a reason women has a hell of a hook from either side especially with her fist all decked out in kevlar and carbon fiber.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

Some girls are eye candy, some have the right attitude, some are both. I got one that's both. Cranky eye candy is the worst!

Mine went thru 2 starter bikes then decided it was time for a new one. I really did not want her to get the 919 because I felt it was to big in CC but sometimes you cannot make them damn wimms understand you are thinking of them.

How was I sposed to know that someday I may be the one riding it while she keeps making the payments............
