One large water when I wake up. One large coffee in the morning. Water the rest of the day. Beer and margaritas on weekend nights for a different energy

For immediate boost (like after I DJ) it used to be Red Bull but after this weekend will now be Rockstar. Although I will need to mix it to compare as well.

Everyday...water

Soccer...Gatorade

But for poll purposes of quick energy...Now Rockstar

I didn't see beer on the list, so I picked Monster energy. 90% of the time you will catch me drinking coffee or water. On the off chance I need a quick boost, I go for the Monster Java. It helped me keep pace with Bionicman last time at JoMoCo after 14 hours of driving through the night.

No worries from me. You and Ang would not have known what to do if I was bouncing off a Monster high.

Bad situation to have your friend jump the fence at RA, kick Mladin off the bike in turn 10 and show him how to do it.

I can see your point Lemonhead and I rarely drink caffeine. I don't do coffee. But when you work 9 hours, hit the gym, grab dinner, DJ till 2, sleep for 3 then repeat...you need a boost every now and then.

thats why i don't do them, i work 12-14hrs driving/unloading tractor trailer, and i'm afraid i'll feel more tired when it wears off, than if i went thru the day on my own stamina. i'd rather eat an apple or orange.

Besides powerade or gatorade, I don't drink them. I read an article about excess energy drink (this having the most vit B and B12 out of all of them) saying that a sustained intake overdose of these vitamins can actually cause permanent neurological damage. I am dumb enough. Don't need any help in that department. I try to stay away from carbonated beverages anyway. Beer is the only exception.

How big of a monster do you hit?? Do you prefer the one under your bed or in the closet? Does it chase you very long after you hit it?? When you say "its constant water" are you talking about peeing your pants while you run??

Interesting to see not many energy drink junkies. I think I have had 1 in the alst 6 mnths (not counting mixed in alcohol). I tried Rockstar this past weekend and if I need one it will get the nod.

I am mostly a water and milk guy also with the greatest invention ever...beer on weekends.

Soccer and Martial Arts has always been a mix of water and gatorade. Same thing at track days.

But if you are trying to stay awake at the computer at work or driving home...those little cans work wonders.

Water is No. 1 for me. In a pinch I like Sugar-free Rockstar.

Suggestion for alll you energy-rush junkies. The most inexpensive and mature jolts can be had with a few supplements from a local Vitamin World or GNC. Take a Thyrosine, Ginseng/Royal Jelly, and B-Complex (liquid under tongue preferred) 15-30 minutes prior to activity! Great stuff. Won't have you crashing like caffeine and sugar.

for Track days and Tae Kwon Do i use Elete Electrolyte Add-in; just mix it in water or whatever you want to drink. Just water otherwise. I don't do caffeine and i tried a Red Bull once and i couldn't sleep for 2 days.

It's not the Vitamin Water, but the lightly carbonated, aluminum canned version. That stuff is good and it works without giving me the shakes!

Hey you N.C.er's. What's that insanely sweet syrupie deer piss color stuff that is regional to Charlotte? The crap that give you the shakes due to the sugar content. It makes Mountain Dew taste like water! "Something Drop"?
