dance with who brung ya...

been bit by the dual sport bug, but can't make myself pull the trigger... took a ride yesterday up in the Ozarks, but the roads have so much sand still on them from recent snowstorms that I decided to take fire roads instead. I let a little air out of my tires, and kept a pretty even speed of 30-35 mph and did just fine. The only thing that concerns me is my headers hanging down there all exposed to rocks flying up; if it wasn't for that i'd be in the market for some more dirt worthy tires...

Why not run your TW? I want one so bad, lots of woods and trails behind my house, sold my Montesa last year and miss the dirt.

I was 2 hours of slab riding from the house before I hit the beach, I mean, sandy roads... I though that most of the sand would have been blown off or at least kicked to the corners, but I was wrong. The TW is a hoot, even on the pavement, but I ain't up for a road trip on him...

Your not going to damage your heads on gravel/dirt roads. Get some dunlop 616's and have some fun.

I don't think I'd be up for 2 hrs of slab on one either.

SW Motech rack with Shad topcase, Givi a240 windscreen... Not totally enamored with the screen as it makes my Arai boomy, but I absolutely love the Shad; I probably keep it overloaded with no problems.
