My 12 yr old son is a very good guitar player for his age....I got him and interface box and software so he can record his guitar onto the computer and mix other instruments (drums, bass guitar, vocals etc...)...Man, he was in front of the computer with that Guitar all day yesterday

He got guitar hero too, but I think he likes the real thing better

Talked to my brother last night who told me a story that just killed it.
His two stepkids are 12 and 6.
The 6 yr old still believes in Santa, the 12 yr old does not.
The younger decided that he should sleep in his brother's bedroom Christmas eve because if he slept in his room he can see the fireplace when he rolls over. If he happened to wake up and see Santa the gig is up and Santa would bail without leaving gifts.

So he slept in big brother's room. Around 11:30 he had to go pee, but didn't want to leave the room and head for the bathroom, because he might see Santa. So big brother convinced him the only safe way was to pee in a coke bottle in the bedroom. Little bro decided this was smart and peed in the bottle, capped it and went back to sleep.

At breakfast the younger one proudly announced his successful plan by placing the pee filled coke bottle on the breakfast table and saying he did this to save Christmas for everyone. Until this point Big Bro had kept his mouth shut about the event, waiting to watch it unfold. I'm told he had tears in his eyes and nearly puked with laughter.

That's a great story Jet! Ahh, the memories of childhood come flooding back...

Mom n' Dad got me a leather riding jacket, which is a pretty big deal for them considering that Mom is s-l-o-w-l-y warming up to my bike... The real funny part is that Mom went to the local HD store to get it. She just "loved" being assisted by women her age with tats and tanktops! They helped her find the only jacket in the store without the "HD" logo. Way to go, Mom! Your perserverance is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Spoiler:
"The list is an absolute good. The list is life."

"What kind'a tires you runnin'?"

Why would anyone jump out of a perfecty good airplane?

If you do, I want to take out a life insurance policy on you first.

I received some amazing gifts from my boyfriend. My kids got me a new running suit and some earrings (which are always wonderful because they actually pick them out themselves....) Mostly, I just thorougly enjoyed the time with the people I love and watching my kids enjoy that same excitement and wander of Christmas that I did as a child.
