CBR600RR Rider: 147mph, Constr. Zone, Intoxicated!

147 mph on a cycle in a construction zone while under the influence... I would have to say he's incredibly lucky to be alive...

Enola motorcyclist clocked at 147 mph on Interstate 81, police say
September 16, 2010, The Patriot-News / Pennsylvania

State police do not keep speed records. But if they did, the motorcyclist clocked at 147 miles per hour last night on Interstate 81 in Silver Spring Township would likely rank high on the list, police said.
The red 2003 Honda CBR 600RR was clocked by a state trooper operating radar in a construction zone in the northbound lanes just before the Mechanicsburg-Route 114 exit (Exit 57).

I'd have to say 147 mph probably ranks up there, without a doubt, said state police spokesman Trooper Thomas Pinkerton.
Share The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man from Enola, was stopped near the exit when his path was blocked by three tractor trailers which were clustered together, police said.

Police said the motorcyclist was believed to be under the influence and was taken for chemical testing. The motorcyclist's name will be released once the blood alcohol results are back and charges have been filed, police said.

Should've used his Honda wings to fly over the 18 wheelers. What was he thinking?!

The comments are funny. Some hope he's an organ donor. One guy hopes he is because he wants his balls since he obviously has a large set. Someone else wants to know where the bleeding heart bikers are about how safe they are on the road.

The comment from the guy who opened his door to intentionally stop a bike just pissed me off. If i got up after that i would be going to prison for a long long time. Because I would be pounding the dirt on the other side of the pavement when the police got there. Carbon fiber protecting the knuckles would make it not leave a scratch.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

Damned cages don't pay attention to people on bikes and I have had more than one try to wreck me because apparently I have pissed them off some how. Some times I don't blame my Bro in law for learning to shoot from his bike.

I'm about through calling the police on these people and reporting there plate soon enough I will start following them home and doing the above described.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.
