Camera question

I have a question. Iím looking to buy and start using a Action Camera i.e. GoPro, because of a accident I was involved in.
How many people are using a action camera?
What is the best action camera?
What is the best way you have the camera mounted or seen the camera mounted?

I use a Sena 10C Pro for commuting. I used a Sena for Bluetooth music anyways, so I upgraded for the dashcam purposes. The video quality isn’t nearly as good as a GoPro, but the all-in-one nature is convenient. With the helmet on, it’s easy to confirm whether it’s recording, or to turn it on after you get riding if you forget. Battery lasts for 1.5-2 hours, so easily enough for my commute, I charge it once I get home.

I wanted a helmet mounted camera since if for some reason I get off the bike, the camera is still on and with me. Or if I get a second bike, I can use the same helmet.

The blueskysea Motorcycle dashcam is a popular one and has dual front/rear cameras. They’re low-profile and permanently mounted on the bike.
