BRP Can Am Spyder

Saw one of these in person yesterday, wild machine! It was sitting outside Manheim Auto Auction in Pensacola, made me stop in my tracks. Rotax 990 decals on the side, bet it screams!

talked to a guy that trailered one up from florida here at the shop. he said it's fun, but different to ride. more like a street snowmobile than anything. mentioned it was quick, but not true sportbike fast, extra weight and all

I took a test ride on one a while back. Not as fun as they look. Felt very heavy while turning.

Interesting feedback, it was extremely cool looking, but when you think about it, why wouldn't you just ride a motorcycle? Definitely has "wow" factor though!

I like the "street snowmobile" analogy.

I don't get the appeal... seems less fun than a motorcycle with about the same amount of risk.

Just a different take on the trike thing I guess, there's always been a small segment of riders that want three wheels.

There's a couple at a dealer around here. My first thought when I saw it was snowmobile with tires also. I could see some die hard snowmobilists in the northern states wanting it but other than I don't get the appeal of it
