Arkansas/Missouri ride report

Just got in, 200 miles Thursday on AR 65/235/14, crossed the ferry at Bull Shoals into Missouri on Friday, 350 miles on MO 125/160/19/32, then back into AR today, another 350 on AR 7/123/16/27; I'm whupped but the bike did great... not to start a fight, but the Missouri Ozarks are blown away by the Arkansas Ozarks roads. shot some video in AR 123, one of the best motorcycle roads in Arkansas, passed a trooper in the twistiest section, had heard was in the area handing out performance awards...

southern mo doesn't take care of there roads near as much as northern mo does. The bluff areas of Missouri are a blast so is HWY 94 lined with places to stop eat look at fun stuff and generally have fun and it was paved by a drunken snake that knows how to lay asphalt and encourparate a bank into a turn.

how far up 19 did you come?

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

Looks like a good time. Good thing the stop sign was there or you could have tried the fabled "919 on water" trick.

always wondered if you could plane a street bike like a dirt bike but not willing to try. Hell my fat body probably can't plane a dirt bike it can a quad though.

I came up 19 from Winona to Salem then across 32 to Louisburg; one thing that struck me about the seondary roads in Mo was that most had a raised area right down the middle of each lane, wanted to toss the bike around a bit when picking a line through a curve... 32 did improve considerably as I went west; 125 was a bit of a let down, but 76 was a blast until the Branson Bluehairs started showing up... super nice people on both sides of the state line, didn't see one LEO the whole time I was in MO, not that I'm complaining

You had a bit of ways before you got near me then. 19 crosses 94 close to my house.

The raised area you speak Of guess I never noticed it since I really only frequent that part of the state on 4 wheels.definatley don't have that around my local stomping grounds the middle of the road is raised to allow drainage.

I wouldn't want to ride around branson used to go there 3-4 times a year when my sister in law lived there. Wanted to shoot my self every time I had to drive around town there. although it'd be a blast if it ever didn't have some many tourist.

I feel that further explanation is necessary with a statement like that...
