Anyone have AAA and does it work for your bike and car?

I'm going to have a car towed, most want more than the $56 a AAA membership costs so I figure might as well buy a 1 year membership. I don't have any car ins now because I haven't driven in years. I'm pretty sure most car ins comes with towing, so the AAA would be a waste except this one tow (and any other I might need).

They say they cover bicycles but not motorcycle service.

Does anyone know what they cover for motorcycles at their base plan?

Is there any other comparable service to AAA? I only need the one tow, but having it on a car/bike later might be a good idea, but it's probably double coverage as most ins includes towing right?

If you get the premier RV membership, you can have up to 200 mile tow for motorcycle, car, truck, etc. The premier allows you to call for a flatbed truck. It's the only membership as far as I know that can take motorcycles.

Garage
They do NOT cover motorcycle towing. Found that out when I got a flat and wanted a tow.

That's strange. I had an accident on the 919 a few years ago and some passer by called his AAA for me and I got a tow from that.

I didn't ask what level he had, it was a free tow for me.

Yeah, the basic level doesn't have bike towing, but you can buy a fancier membership that does. I just started dating a girl with a truck instead, which is cheaper and has more side benefits.
