That thing is nice. Very nice.

You may not need the shock linkage.

This Mike has had his love affair with a black RC.

It is time for another Mike to get one.

Nah.. not just yet anyway. $7,500. Not too shabby considering the list of 'goodies.' The pic does not do this bike justice. It is spectacular!

If I decide to buy it, the 9er will be sold. At this point in time there is no need for 2 bikes.

Are you serious about buying or just kicking tires?

He's all fluff & hot air. Besides, he already sold the step stool from his last bike.

$7500 for me is a stretch for another RC... and what I want to do with one. Lighter is righter for me next.

But I did say YOU could buy it for ME! Thats a solid option!

I'd love to roll into a nice bike for the summer... not sure what I am looking for yet though. My buddies 1000RR or a 600 SS for the track... My head spins when I think about it.

I should really pull some cash outta the market before it crumbles and just go get something. I know....

I have always loved RCs from a distance. That's a nice one. The seller is losing a $$$ bundle. Sounds like a great deal, until you ride the thing.

If that thing had the ergos of a 919, I'd say jump on it in a heartbeat. But on an RC, the pegs are high, and the clip-ons are very low. On the one I rode, the suspention, or lack of, was horrible. It's a race bike, meant to be ridden 20 minutes at a time. On this particular example, the ass end is another 3/4" in the air. The RC's a little too "serious" for me. A Tuono would give you pretty much the same of everything, but you could have fun on it all day.

Never ridden an RC51, but that one is beautiful!! If the RC is the kind of bike you want, that would be a nice one to get. Amazingly clean!
Enjoy!

They are brutal. Short trips only, unless you have h_ryder's butt, in which case he probably wants it back. I wouldn't keep it anyway, it's been too abused by RC90.

He conditions his butt in strange ways.

What type of insane moron would think about getting an RC51. Pfffft ... get a life and wake up!
