Who'll Stop the rain!

OK, I have about had it, I have lived here for 5 years and my inlaws come over every May from the Netherlands and for the first 3 years they asked "Does it ever rain here?" Then last year it rained dand near everyday from March to July, now we get to this year, it did not rain for the first half of the inlaws visit, now is usually the time of the year that it rains late in the heat of the afternoon, well throw that out, I want to ride NOT IN THE RAIN and I do a weather check, and sure it is not raining at my house, but everywhere around me!

I don't mind riding along and suddenly getting caught in the rain but I do not like starting off in the rain, or knowing it is storming so bad where I am going that riding a M/C would be near suicide with the stupid drivers around here.

Just ranting........................................... ..........................................

I still do not feel any better but they always say Misery Loves Company!

I Can and will ride anything!

If it makes you feel any better, they have been calling for rain here for 2 straight weeks and I bet we haven't had a total of 1 days worth of rain. All the guys at the shop have been to scared to ride, but it ends up being super nice. I drove today because they were calling for storms when I left. Nothing but blue skys and sunshine.

I just checked the weather and they have pushed the 'all day thunderstorms' back to not starting until around 2:00 pm. I bet we won't see a drop of rain before I get off work. I swear I'm going to stop listening to the weather people and just poke my head outside. I might look a radar too, but that's it!

I am looking at the radar on the computer, and it is showing pure read over where I am going, it will skirt to the west of me, since I live in the "Highlands" of Florida, I do live on the second highest hill in the state.

It may not rain on my house, but I can go 3 miles north, south, west, and most times east and it will be raining.

I don't mind getting unexpectedly getting caught in the rain, but I dang sure do not like starting in it, also not going just 3 miles then getting soaked.

I Can and will ride anything!
