So, heres the story.

I've been working with Sportbike Rentals | Sportbikes for Hire | Great Smoky Mountains | The Dragon | Cherohala Skyway | Blue Ridge Parkway | TN, bought a few motorcycles, and am preparing to start renting bikes here in Northern California, Sierra Nevada Foothills.

So far I have a 2007 Ninja 650 and a 2002 VFR800, going to look at a Suzuki Boulevard this weekend. And there will be several more to come. (any suggections?)

So, if anyone ever wants to come out here and experience some GREAT ridiing in the California mountains, let me know.

I hope it is ok with the powers-that-be for me to post this here. I guess we'll find out!

I've been to Cali a couple of times and wished I had a bike. Good luck with your venture. I should be out that way come November.

Dude.... get a 919 and a 599 if you are trying to get this crowd to bite . I would also like to see something like a drz400s in the mix.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

Pretty cool idea. Good luck!

A service like this can come in handy. I'm supposed to make a trip to the dragon this year. Maybe a rental and ride.

Good luck! I'll be out there in about a month to do the Tail, then riding the whole Blue Ridge Parkway. I'll be riding my own bike, or else I would definitely ship business your way.

Hey Ricko
Have you considered a spyder? When I was recovering from an injury I searched hi and low for a trike to rent. I had a long wait to get back on two wheels and thought a trike would satisfy my urge to get back out there.
Spyders might also help get some cagers in the wind and let them experience the joys of riding.

Great lineup to start with Rick. I hope it takes off for you. Is the riding season there year round?

Looking at the surrounding area you may want to think about a couple of dual sport type bikes down the road.

We are in business! Website is up and running (not perfectm but it'll do just fine, check it out! Sportbike Rentals | Sportbikes for Hire | Great Smoky Mountains | The Dragon | Cherohala Skyway | Blue Ridge Parkway | TN) We have insurance. All the bikes are registered, have rental helmets. Made a deal to keep some bikes in South Lake Tahoe and have them avaiable for rent there all the time.

We will be at Cyclegear bike night in Sacramentothis coming Thursday. If any of you are in the area, come by and say hi!

...and it's a good story, dude.

Now, go buy a cheap 919 and put it in the back of the shed so those of us who don't adapt quickly to new rides have something to rent when we come to check you out.

Waay Coool! I really hope you make it work.

I was stationed at Beale AFB, CA back in the 70s. Always wanted to take a ride around Lake Tahoe. Never did. Now I can.
