It's been so long since I've rode a fourwheeler (what we call them in the south). We have two Honda TRX300 4x4's (the greatest utility ATV ever made). I'm in the market for a sport model now. A 250X, ATC 350X, or a 400EX

Wife has a Yamaha Grizzly 600 something for around the property work. Amazes me how much snow it can plow.

I would look for a LTZ400(suzuki), I've been and always will be a faithful Honda lover, but the LTZ is a kickass bike, has more power and faster than the EX, it also has a super easy reverse knob, some EX's don't have reverse at all, the Z's motor is nearly identical to the bullet proof DRZ motor, the best parts is you can pick up a decent used one for $1500-$2500

**LTZ400(Suzuki), KFX400(Kawasaki) and DVX400(Arctic Cat) are all the exact same bike under the plastic**

Snow is hella fun! I only had a sled one season, but I knew that if I continued to ride regularly I'd end up hurt. I highly suggest only going on groomed trails for beginners and people not familiar with the area. Alot of hidden dangers under the snow.

Nah, they are wicked fun! Besides, landing in snow is a cakewalk compared to asphalt!

Seriously, we use to run through powder and jump off at 30mph just for the FUN of it!

I got ran over once. That didn't feel too good, I felt the track smashing me down into the snow, lol. Just got back up and hopped on.

The worst wreck I ever got in I was buzzing about 70mph in a straight line in this HUGE field. I start veering slightly to my left and WHAM! I get broadsided by my Dad's friend who though it would be 'funny' to whiz past me on his slightly more powerful machine at 90mph. Needless to say, I think I flipped about 10 times before landing. Luckily the skis went right around my body (track went right up my side as he went over and I went under). I came out completely unscathed, but a little shook up.

Guy had the nerve to get mad at ME for turning in front of him.
