My brother and I hit the road after work Tuesday night and got back Friday night. 1230 miles through Washington and Oregon on the twistiest roads we could find through the mountains, canyons and rolling farmlands.
It was a great to miss 3 days of work to go ride with my brother, but it was HOT all week! Close to 100 most of the trip. It wasn't bad as long as we were moving, and the shade of the deep woods felt at least 20 degrees cooler.
We pulled into a store in a little town called Spray, OR and the thermometer on the porch read 102 in the shade!
