Bristol, TN NASCAR Trip

What an experience. I got to travel to Bristol, TN for a meet-n-greet with two more WristTwister's members. I had met Brian (h_ryder) at Deal's Gap, and he offered tickets to the races and a place to crash, so I loaded the Strom up, and headed off to the races. I got lost on the way there due to Google Maps unclear directions (let's just say that there are more than one US321 interstate highways) It did give me a photo-op at the US Continental divide while I was waiting for traffic to clear.

I finally arrived after a butt-numbing 6 hour ride. We got everything straightened out, loaded up the truck, and we were off to the track.

More to come later...

Spoiler:
I'll give you a hint, it ain't h_ryder.

This had to be another member here, but I figured Ragdoll wanted some privacy with his date.

Caption your own for this one...

We didn't know it, but it seemed as though Johnny B made a guest appearance with his coke-bottle sidecar.

I snapped a great pic of dadogs favorite driver. Jeff Gordon for those that are NASCAR challenged. His crew is called the Rainbow Warriors. I'll let you mull over that for a minute.

And you thought you had parking issues:

Pack 40+ cars @ 125mph, and eventually, somethin's gotta give. This was a regular occurence both nights.

Before the national anthem was sung, the fans flipped cards to show this. You could feel the patriotism oozing from that place.

Then they parachuted the flag in while it was being sung by the driver's kids. (a very good rendition if I do say so)

Try watching 150,000 rednecks stumble back drunk after the race to this...

I have to go back to work for a bit. I'll post some more later. I've got a huge RMA logistical nightmare I have to get worked out by day's end.
