Alberta Canada to Northern California - Camp Sites?

Iím gearing up for a big trip on May 26th to June 11. I will be driving to Lethbridge AB, meeting a friend and then on the bikes to the Oregon Coast, down to Cali. We are trying to have general areas as goals so we do not get too hung up on deadlines and just enjoy it.

We will be travelling with a tents and sleeping bags, and I am looking for any suggestions on camp sites along the way that are nice:

Day 1 - Sandpoint, ID Area (east of Spokane)
Day 2 - Tillamook, OR area (west of Portland, on the coast) or Portland if we are tired
Day 3 - somewhere on the Oregon Coast, a few hrs North of the Cali Boarder
Day 4 - Cail! - Maybe around San Francisco
Day 5 - Get to Santa Cruz eventually and crash in a hotel for a few nights.

Lethbridge, AB to Santa Cruz, CA, USA - Google Maps (Route is here). Any suggestions are appreciated.

Riding in Ontario is not too bad, but once you get in to Manitoba the
road is straight for miles.

I drove across Canada in 2006 and only got 15 minutes
of rain. I even saw the cloud like an hour before and had lots
of time to stop to put on my rain gear.

Have fun and make sure to post some pics...

I've traveled down the way you're going. I just slept where ever I got tired. I didn't really use camp site too often. Just found some grass for my sleeping bag. Just remember, don't sleep on green grass. If its green there's sprinklers!
