300 mile Saturday ride thru the Ozarks

So Saturday I had nothing to do, and my daughter was at her grandma's for the weekend, so I decided to take off on my 07 GSX-R 1000 and go for a spirited ride. Started out really fast and hard, and I mean totally hanging off of the seat on a desolate back country highway. Well I kept going and eventually found my way to the Pig Trail (Arkansas highway 23). The moment I turned onto it I almost immediately was in awe at the serenity and beauty that was completely engulfing me. I ended up slowing way down and just rode to enjoy the scenery. I took a few pics but my phone wasn't charged, so I didn't get many. After gawking at all of the gorgeous fall colors, I rode on and eventually snaked my way back to scenic hwy 71 to start making my way home. It was so breathtaking that I'm leading a few riders this Thursday back down the pig trail. Anyways, I'll share a few of the photos. The last 2 are just a couple edits I was playing around with

Looks like a great ride I've only been on scenic route 7 on my way to Russelville. Looks like i have few more roads to hit up. Ever gone up around the lake in the fall it's a beautiful ride.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

Yeah I've been all over, just not usually when colors are in full effect like this was. I live to ride...can't stand going in a car

I was down along side 123 last weekend, camping and climbing. All day long you could hear the bikes zipping by. It was a fantastic day for it.

It definitely was a perfect time. Plus I finally found my confidence with this bike. I've only had it 2 months, and haven't put many miles on it yet, but I finally said screw it and hit the twisties....fast. stupidly fast lol. Plus I had a lot of time to clear my head about things bothering me in life, so it was the perfect day. Can't wait for Thursday to do it again since they're expecting 70 for a high

Lol its been in the 30s at night, but depending on where ya look, its supposed to be between 62-70 tomorrow! Perfect time to ride again. And I work nights, too, but go in at midnight so I can ride and still get to bed in time to get sleep for work :-P
