Who likes to ride at night

Rode up to Oconomowoc yesterday afternoon then stopped at Carrabbas on the way home in Milwaukee. It was dark, i had my halo, traffic had lightened.

Hit many greens. Superslab was a breeze. Other than being alittle chilled. I coulda stayed out for hours.

like riding at night but really love a nice ride at Dawn into the night. You still have great visibility and its cooler than a mid day ride.

I like riding at night. Did a group ride the other night with about 20-25 bikes. There was one guy that had a Gold Wing with more LEDs on it than I ever seen on a bike. He road at the back of the pack because he was by far the most visible.

I love riding at night - within city limits - especially this time of year when it's starting to cool down into the 50's.
I told my wife that I didn't think I'd be home much this fall - she didn't seem to find the humor in it.

Not big on getting out on the dark highways - tons o' bugs & the real danger is not knowing when a deer or coon will dart out in front of you.

+1. Out here in Iowa this week I've had 4 deer run out in front of me in the 5 days I've been here. Driving the cage, but still would be even less fun on a bike. I hit a deer here (deer here, deer here, somehow that's funny, sorry I've been here too long) back in the day when I was a teenager with my Fiat X1/9. The deer won.

doesn't matter the time of day around here critters are all over the place all the time. just easier to see during the day (obviously) a week ago i flew a guy and his wife who cut a doe in half while riding his 97 road king. deer ran out in front of them at 10 am. speed was 30mph. he was banged up but his wife was a mess. and yes they were atgatt. full helmets and leathers. she had 9 broken ribs a punctued lung neck and back fractures and a brain bleed. luckily she's going to be fine after a long rehab.

Night rides are awesome. I do want to get an HID kit though.

Always loved riding at night, it feels like you're getting away with something.

Though I have to say that now I'm getting a little older, my night vision ain't what it used to be, so I have to back it down a good bit more.

i love riding at night. sometimes i would rather ride at night than during the day. just ride more cautious b/c of apparent visual imparement of the cages.

Night rides are my favorite. My favorite mount is the XX. It's stealthy quiet and teflon smooth. Completely black out with just a beam of light breaking the darness in front of you.

I miss my midnight ride through the back roads of Connecticut down to Newport. The cool air then you hit a pocket of warm air, then back to cool. The smells of the night, both good and bad are incredible. I use to hit a bluff in Newport over looking the ocean. Spread out, catch a short nap listening to the ocean and then have a great dawn ride home.

It's better to have loved and lost than live with the psycho for life!

Nights are good but for me, nothing beats very early Morning with the ride ending just after sunrise.

I like to ride at night as well but I grew up in the country and am just about to afraid of deer.
I have been hit twice by deer, yes hit by them. Luckly I was in the work truck and only had a dented doors and busted fender.

Paul

Live to ride, but ride to ride another day!

+1 My favorite time to ride as well. Nights aren't fun anymore because of my +40 something eyes.

Night riding was a pleasure a long time ago. These days, that is when all the dui drivers are out. I prefer to be safer and ride during the daylight hours, when I can see them coming. Defensive riding is a necessity.

riding is an addiction, no matter what you ride.
