Okay.. I do understand what it is like to ride in heat, and I too have been guilty of the same crime. Here is a suggestion:
jeans, polo, gloves, boots and helmet - Change to:
Jeans - Instead it could be Icon, or Dragging Jeans, or Bohn armour underneath or at least shin guards up to the knees.
Polo - Instead it could be Bohn armour underneath, or a vented non-leather jacket.
Boots - NO! Work boots don't prevent torsional twisting of the ankle in the event of an accident. And NO! The steel toes won't safe the feet it they hypernate or hyper extend. Instead - maybe a pair of SIDI street boots which have the look of regular shoes.
Helmet - Well... need I say more ?
I of course realize affordability is one thing, but as I said, seek the best within your given budget. NEVER have it at home and then wish you had worn it that day.
