Earplugs

I have a set of musicians earplugs and wore them for a trip to Santa Monica and back (maybe 20-25mi one way). I have a stock 919 (R.I.P.) so it's not like it's the loudest thing but it did make the ride more pleasant and I think on a longer trip might contribute to lessening overall exhaustion.

I listen to my ipod while riding, which blocks out the major noises that ear plugs would. I can still hear everything around me.

I use a pair of Etymotic ER20 earplugs (link). Well, I use one...I'm deaf in my right ear. I also have a pair of Shure E2c earbuds for listening while on the road.
