accident

First accident on the niner. Riding with a friend and some of his friends. V-Rod and Harleys. I was 4th in line and stopped at a red while older lady in cage began her left turn. WHAMMO!!! the guy on the Harley behind me assumed the lady was going to stop to let "our group" stay together. Took out the left side Step (Chain/Tire Guard?). Cracked it off. $69.00 with shipping.

BTW Harley guy went down. Cracked windshield, scuffed front fender and damaged pride. He was cool said he'd write the check.

Clarification. Preparing to turn right at intersection. My light turned red just as the third guy in our group completed the right hand turn. I was fourth in line and stopped for the lady in the car as she turned left in front of us (She now had the green for her left turn). The guy behind me hit my bike. He said he was watching the lady and thought she would stop to let us make the turn.

The guy behind me was older and said he had recently purchased his bike.Said this was his second accident in two weeks. He thanked me for being so polite and will pay for the damage.

sweet.. glad it had a happy *(read that as non-medical involvement) ending....

i really hope he goes and takes a msf course or spends a bit of time sharpening his riding skills... 2 in 2 is not a good record...

Holy analogy failure! or, wait...was it a simile...

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!
