Looking at the battery packs and the size of the electric motors, I'd say it would not be too much of a job to shoehorn the power package into a sportbike chassis, take it to a WSMC race and see what it'll do in a sprint race, say 6 to 8 laps. I wonder what a maximum cruise range would be.

Good find, Ripper.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

Thanks Ripper, the embedded video worked but for some reason the one in the link still says Stream not found...

That's pretty impressive - those cars he raced are not slow by any means, and he destroyed them!!

Electric has proven itself ace for the track. Still for practical purposes, namely range, gas still gets it.

But yes. It was awesome to watch it down the polluters.

Yeah, good luck taking on the auto industry and it's lobbying powers.

I still say y'all need to watch "who Killed the Electric Car?". We could've had production cars like this at all the dealerships.

Nice find, Ripper.

11.5 @ only 110mph?

No doubt the thing is quick 0-60 or 0-100, but that trap speed is showing its limits and lack of big power and high speed capability.
