Your average house cat

I'm not a fan of cats, but they can do some amazing things. So much for radar.

My cat kicks ass, just caught a chipmunk last week and he's 14 years old! My cat, not the chipmunk...which made me wonder, just how long do chipmunks live? Evidently about 1.5 years in the wild but up to 10 years in captivity. Now you know.

Here's my boy stalking the backyard pond...

Instinct

I've witnessed it myself, Once two birds flew inside our front door, they both settled on the front curtain rod. I watched the cat jump and bite the first one in his mouth, at least a 7 foot leap. Half a second later again he had the second one in his claws, back to the floor with two trophies. Unbelievable

Cats rock... I watched one killing a squirrel last week and feasting on a head. Pure instinct.. It was beautiful. It chewed the eye out first..

Good kitty..

When informed of the carnage, my neighbor was proud.
