Took my DRZ to the kart track....

It was the best $50 I ever spent. Ran it at NOLA motorsports park, which is an awesome facility. Two sessions rotated throughout the day one for mini's (150cc and under) then 150cc to 450cc. Those guys carry some crazy corner speed on those little bikes as you will see in the vid. Skip to 1:12 if you don't feel like watching a guy try to kickstart his bike for a minute...and watch in 720 this was the un-official race for that day. Things start getting interesting on the 3rd and 4th lap, a lot of bumping and sliding. It was a blast

The guy in the yellow leathers had some custom built 120cc mini that sounded intense and was fast as hell. Watch for the power wheelies he was pulling hahaha. He went down in the 2nd lap though.

I heard him say it was a custom built 119cc. It sounded mean as shit and was running race gas. He busted it up pretty good in that fall though. I heard someone else say it will cost him about a grand to fix it.

It's a stock SM. Standard mods, the 3x3, re-jetted the carb, stock exhaust just with the end drilled out. I'm working on getting either a Yosh RS2 or an MRD full system, and I've read something about putting the cams in from a DRZ400E.

Here's a couple of pics. I was hanging off early in the day, but finally tried the 'leg out' method and felt faster. It just took getting used to.

Also threw in one of the yellow bike.
