starting young, learning as we go

My 6 year old on his pocket bike. We're learning at a max 15 mph, but he thinks he's speedracer. Basically teaching him everything I know from mcs and downsizing it.

He doesn't know he's learning to ride safe, he just thinks its cool "boys time".

I wish when I was that young I had my own motorcycle...

I may not have a lot to say but it doesn't mean I don't listen.

I started riding at 6. That pic brings back some memories. Good of you to pass on the passion.

Yeah, we tied our shoes better after the pic. He asked me how come he can't get boots like I have with no laces...I told him maybe in the spring when he's out of the warehouse and in the cul de sac...

He then went on to inform me he also doesn't have real gloves, leather jacket, riding pants...

My heart smiled...but my wallet cringed. Ive created a monster...

I may not have a lot to say but it doesn't mean I don't listen.

This is my goal for my nephew over the next few years. Thankfully I don't have to foot a majority of the bill, so as the uncle I get to be the one that gets him the cool stuff. Haha.
