what the heck happened? Looks like the guy in the front just freaked out, locked up the front, and when down. The guy behind him got scared and did the same thing. Or was contact involved?

The first bike actually rights itself and proceeds on fairly well for a second after the rider falls off of it. Can't really understand what caused that wholething though!

Looks exactly like this is what happened.

No rhyme or reason for either to go down.... almost like the hand of God came down and smote them.

i disagree... what it appears to have happened is the 1st guy that went down, touched his brakes and made the mistake of clamping down too hard, locked the tire and bike took a hard left nose dive. dude put his foot down to try and stop it, bike righted itself but putting the dude's foot down at speed knocked him off balance and sent him to the ground. while that was happening the dude behind the 1st guy panicked, locked his front brake and immediately went down. everything would of been fine if neither of them had panicked and reacted with gut instinct.

That video looks exactly like the HiWay Report ( but a different case) on two people who just fell off their bikes in south La last week and got killed when two cars ran over them. I never understood how you just fall off a moving bike. We have alot more hurt and killed around here on HDs and HD wanna be's. I feel it's because they never learn how to RIDE, they only perfect the tuff guy act!

Wow, I watched it again and noticed the lead slider was doing a face plant for several feet.

Even after falling and getting hit by the second bike, you can't help but cringe at bare skin dragging across the pavement. Never understood why people think just a vest will do in a fall.

I agree, first guy locked brake for no effin reason and second immediately did the same in a panic.

I think people just think they won't fall and when they fall they don't think, it happens so quick. I hope everyone is well

I bet that ruined some tattoos!

It should be mandatory for people with that skill set to try and do burnouts also.

You mean they should start with burnouts, instead of trying straight for a stoppie.

Is it possible the second guy was close enough to the first guy to rub wheels (front to back), first guy panics locks back brake and both go down because of the initial contact or were they not close enough to begin with?

^ Thats what I was thinking. It kinda looks like the second bike approaches pretty quickly and is close to him.
