Sweet! Love Ken Block in these vids.......in real rally not so much.

I got such a laugh out of Sebastian Loeb at X-games this year, showed up never even ran rally-x before and stomped everyone. He made Block, Pastrana, Mirra etc .... look like the amateurs that they really are.

Ah, back to the good stuff. I love the first couple Gyms, but the middle ones weren't as good. This one was pretty freaking awesome.

Can you imagine going to work the next day, not knowing what had been going on, and see about 5 consecutive miles of skid marks. Ummm...wha happened??

And yes. Loeb is god on wheels.

My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.

i give block credit.... he is damn good at this stuff thats for sure. But i would love to see tanner foust do the same.... Block as you see in the video has to do multiple multiple takes..... if you look at the Mulholland Snake drift vid of tanner foust.... its pretty much all one maybe two takes.

OH and agreed... the gym 3 and 4 were meh.... actually just found the extended cut of gym 4, and its much more focused around the actual driving... find it on youtube its much better than the original!

Yes and no. The mulholland drift, he probably went through countless times (not drifting) to learn the corners, Block does it muliple times till it's right, look just how close he gets to objects.

If tanner did the mulholland drift while keeping the the rear tires at the edge of the road in the first/second take, then that would be impressive. He just drifted up a twisty road, not anything most drifters/rally drivers couldn't do.

Not saying what block does, no one else could do but you know what I mean.

BTW, the first ken block video was the best of them all (Y), this one was good though!

Watched this a few times over the past few days, and my main thoughts are - thankfully #5 is better than #4, and how the hell did they coordinate with the entire city of SF for this video shoot? The empty city streets are a perfect location for this!
I just wish Block could look this impressive in World Rally.
