Welcome to the Kermit sandhills. Please enjoy your dirt nap. Please pardon the fact that the video is not chopped up...

CONTAINS NSFW LANGUAGE!

PICT0165 - YouTube

I'm assuming the head bouncing off the sand killed that bit of video... it runs up until we stop, then starts again when it's in the sand. Neither rider nor bike were injured in this video.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

Sorry you can't hear much of the bike. I had the waterproof cover on my GoPro and all you could hear was the engine wine.

Yes, yes they do! I'm itching to do PIR again, that front straight is a screamin blast!!!!! I think Mcromo would be able to top out the 919 on that straight. I know for the advanced group, people are reaching speeds in excess of 160 mph on that straight

Andrew, sick video! Looking forward to the next time! Might be sooner than later

Scenery was great, glad I took the route over the more fun snakey mountainside road. This was a 2day trip down that included 7hrs of riding on the 1st day to Portland, a full track day, and a 3hr return trip the same day. Very fun but very exhausting! I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

PVster, I'd be up for another session at PIR. That track layout is fantastic in learning to be smooth. The turns are much more high speed with the right technique, one that can shave a lot of time off the laps. But yes, my goal is to get out there as much as work and my wallet allows me!

While I have to agree with you regarding PIR, it doesn't have to be AT PIR for next time...

No keychain camera involved here, in this case we were using a Go Pro and trying out some different angles. I would not recommend mounting it how we did in the second vid haha. The next ride we mounted it this way it fell off on a dirt road.

Here are a couple other interesting angles we tried back when i had my sv650. I miss that bike..

Nice vid. You know you're riding the S$*t out of a 9er when you touch the pegs down with the feelers removed!

Those look like the same boots I rode in, are those Doc Martens?

Andrew (and the rest of you), are you running external power on those longer compressed ride vids? I picked up a Hero3 a few weeks ago and have been impressed with the picture quality, but the battery life is just awful no matter what I try... not sure how I'm going to do the bike vids I had planned for this summer.

Fwiw, here's my first (ski) video with it... I intended it to be a joke, some work friends were commenting that every video now has dubstep and unnecessary slow-motion... but then once I started editing, I kind of got into it...
