my new freebie camera mount

We were chucking some destroyed Sony PD 150 cameras at work when I spied the microphone mount. I appropriated the best looking one and brought it home, after a little tweaking this is what I came up with. Itching to try it but it's been drizzling all day. Now that it's clearing up a bit I won't ride as I've had a couple frozen Vodka shooters and believe staying planted on my feet or butt is where I belong.
This mount has a ball leveler which is pretty cool and the main clamp is rubber mounted.

i'll be curious to see how it goes -- most bar mounted solutions i've seen vibrate / bump so much it makes most video useless.

I just mounted it on the end while trying to get the clamp pressure right. It's going on hopefully between the handle bar clamps, if the rain stays away today I'll let you folks know if this is viable.

I took this vid yesterday with a standard RAM handlebar mount on the left side next to the clutch housing, mainly to shoot around the windscreen. Camera is a Pentax W90.

Cool vid! Who's the artist? Like the tune. That little camera does a good job.

Thanks rmb. The artist is Uncle Kracker and I think Kid Rock is singing with him.

Here it is on the bike, image is a bit steadier than I thought it would be. The sound however is useless after say 30mph. Have to figure out how to edit and post though.

How did the video turn out (besides sound), and where could I find a piece like this. I have a flip camera and have been wanting to mount it to my bike, but haven't found anything that would really work.

Video didn't look bad at all, when I get it edited down I'll post some of it. The mount came off a Sony PD150, it's the factory microphone mount.
