Me on the snake.

From Rnkeymouse's vid of laborday weekend... in this vid below at 1:41 2:43 & 3:10

Always bummed he doesnt get my awesome wheelies out of the corner going up hill... the POS one he got at 2:43 i actually spun the rear tire (it was HOT out... 100+*F rubber was ballin up on the sides of the tire)... got on the throttle and went hmm that dont feel right, ya its spinning... but just kept on it. Typically ill pull it up good

Cool vid. Liking the Hornet deep in the corner.

It does remind me why I don't do a lot of group rides - far to may people riding way to close to each other at speed on public roads ......

LOVE the cafe at the end of the video, way to show the modern bikes whats up. Looking good on the 9er too!

Is it wrong that I want the guys in T-shirts to crash and at the same time wonder why some guys are wearing full racing leathers on a casual ride?

bah yup toast beat me to it haha. o wells... teaches me for not looking !

to wheelie that corner it takes first gear, no way you could power wheelie in second hunched over the front like that.

and ya i typically dont like riding with other people becides my good buddy who knows whats up... typically ill do a pass or two on this section of road, then go enjoy the roads less traveled.

So how's the stock suspension feel in the twisties? I haven't really taken my 919 to true twisties, so I haven't experienced it yet. I think I would be afraid of pushing it because the stock shock would buck me off or something and turn it into a highside haha.

after playing with it... redoing the front (due to leaky fork seal) with some quality 10w oil at ~ 30mm higher oil level, preload with 3 full bars showing, 4th bar even with the top, rebound ~ 40% from full soft and rear i think on the 4th notch preload from lowest setting and rebound ~ 40% from full soft, i am pretty confident in the bike.

I know it could be better but it feels very planted with that setup... granted i only weigh ~ 160.

but really i think its alll what my mind knows... never really ridden anything int the twisties with any decent suspension... ignorance is bliss as they say.
