I watched the Superbike races last night on DVR

Amazing how the top dogs there crank out those 30 mile laps.

They must go to a place (that I've never been) mentally because, first of al, they are psycho for even being there, and secondly, they know every nuance of that lap and attack it with reckless abandon.

Is it auto-pilot or extreme focus? Maybe a little of both....???!!

I remember in the late 90's or early 1K's when Kent K. of "Sport Rider", an accomplished racer who could qualify for (then) Supersport rounds, went there and struggled to break the 100MPH average speed...a benchmark for all newbies to the TT.

The current lap record in in excess of 130 MPH.

Did I mention its a 30 mile lap?

I'm sure they can "learn" the course, but I would imagine to get that fast you have to go into video game mode and just go with the flow. Fun times regardless.

Awsome video! Great choice of music as well. Still trying to figure out who it is.
