As you can see, decomp has started to set in on the Ice Victim leaving just the exterior shell of ice to show us his true identity.

It's crazy around here! It's been kind of a light mist all day and it just keeps building up on the trees. They are falling everywhere now. Houses on fire from the power lines getting weighed down and coming into contact with something allowing the sparks to fly and fires to start!

All I need is to make sure that everyone is out of the house and let her burn!!!

Bandwidth Warning! Don't click the pic unless you have good bandwidth.

It is really starting to drop in temp around here and the mist is freezing onto the ice. Making really cool looking crystals, and adding much unwanted weight to the trees.

The sounds after a big ice storm are chilling. All the cracking and popping makes it a little nerve racking to walk around outside. The worst thing that can happen after a thick coating of ice is a high winds. And that's what is in store for us tomorrow - 50-60 MPH. Hopefully you guys don't get it first, Ripper.

we moved a big tree limb yesterday with the truck so cars could get past and just as we were done my son started walking away when and even bigger limb fell exactly where he was standing. That put the fear in him! He said "I'm glad I moved!"

Are you sure the demise of the frosty one was just a misfortune of fate. I think those little gang bangers look guilty of something.

my wife is from eastern Ontario and told me about that storm. They were without power for a month during winter in Canada. It irritates me now when people whine about losing power for a day.
