Hoping to post a few pics from Photobucket

Sad to say, Traded the 919 a few weeks back... I've written this several times to justify my reasons and in the end... it just doesn't matter to anybody else. Suffice to say- I will miss that bike a LOT!
As of June 12th, I have only two cycles... an 06 KTM 950 SM, and a new K8- GSXR 7.5- that will be a track bike, and ... occasional commuting Weapon.

Anxious to hear from any GSXR owners... However, I will say that I have no plans to chrome, stretch or lower... just some carbon, Akra's, wiring,Braided lines, etc...

I've been commuting on the Gixxer, to break it in and have tried to refrain from 50 mile oil changes.. I will say that it took me a 150 miles or so to get settled/ seated.
I like it more and more every time I ride it, which is good b/c I felt very poorly about trading the 919.

There are some sleek slip-ons for the Gixxer. I like the LeoVince SBK GP STYLE EVOII.

Congrats...

Thanks everyone for the kind words...

Midwest is correct... The pics aren't that great, need to bone up on my camera settings...

JD- Didn't mean to misrepresent, my brother in law gave me that sticker-He's retired FF from Lowell, Mass. I'm ex-miitary medic/ paramedic... I needed something real quick to hide the plate. The other plates been turned in...

I've had the 950 for 8 months or so, ride report to follow. Been meaning to get a fender elim. for it, but there isn't a whole lot of support for that, so it will have to be fabricated...
Just got the Gixxer, been breaking it in... Broke one of my cardinal rules and bought a new bike, but they hold some decent value and I'm planning on keeping it for a few years. Downside, I decided that I could only justify 2 large street bikes and the niner was sort of sharing duty with the 950 sm. I hated to see it go, but there's only so much time to ride.

Anybody know if I can put an 06 or 07 stock cat and exhaust on my 08. I hate the stock pipe and plan to wait a while to shell out for an all ti system. The previous yrs exhaust is much less- ugly..?
Thanks again, TD

Sweet ride, hun?
Ours is the flat six, white also.
I always thought I'd some day own a Porsche flat six road burner but alas the car that had this sweet engine configuration is a WAGON!
Smoooothe and sneaky fast.
