Ouch! Sorry to see folks get hurt, thus why I don't condone that high risk entertainment. I wonder how much each fall cost and if that convinced retirement.

Alot of pain comes with greatness and glory!

Yeah you can bet they crashed so many times before the glorious gravity defying highlight. But many will be hobbling around with a cane or worse at 30yr. Their occupation makes the NFL look as a walk in the park!

Every broken bone or injury I've ever had came from Motorcycles or ATV's. Why, because I was pushing the limits of my abilities so as to improve or make greater my limit. Was it worth it? Yes it was, but only because none of my injuries were very serious (life threatening). Would I do that now? Probably not! Why not now you ask? Because as I get older it takes to long to get up from a wreck now.

The hobbling is so very true. But, the feeling you get from standing on the top podium is worth all the pain and future pain! Sadly, so many can't handle the pain and will never feel that moment!

Okay, I'm having a glory days moment.

My wife has plates and screws holding her knee together from a motocross injury. No matter how many times she's asked if she would do it all over again she never hesitates to answer yes immediately.

My butt clenches and the blood runs cold in a few of those shots when you can see the person the suddenly realize OH CRAP THIS IS NOT GOING TO END WELL!
I was at the X-Games freestyle event where Pastrana pulled off the double back flip and thankfully there was very few wipe outs. Those guys are amazing!
