Dyno Shootout over the weekend

YouTube - Cycle Barn - Elliston, Michael - 07 Honda CB900F dyno

Hey All,
My local shop had an open house with a Dyno shootout this last weekend. I had them run my 919. It was a fun event and I got a free shirt out of it. While I'm not winning anything with only 102HP there is a prize for the bike with the most views in a month. If you have a minute check out the link.

Thanks

PS. I'm having my bike Dyno Tuned this Saturday. I expected a bit more then 102 with the Sato cans.

Thanks CBRider. I repacked them about 500 miles ago and they have settled into a nice sound.

What map are you running? A lot of people like the Dan Kyle map with the Satos.

Cool - I heard the black ones have more power .........

Is that just a bit of carbon out the back of the pipes or is it running rich?

I have been trying out a few different maps. In the video it has the "919satonew1" map from 919.org

I'll put on the Dan Kyle map tonight and see how it feels.

But if all else fails I could just paint it black

102 isn't bad, feel good knowing you got a bunch of torque as well. I watched them all, so I will hit yours a few more times to even the score

Nice site. I fell outa my chair when the Duc pulled!
If the 919 could pull another 2K, and still keep the torque, it would be mean!

My place is where we tune the 'sleeper' before taking it to the shootout. Like assembling the frankenstein before unleashing it. haha.
You pickup somethin' new?

I had the bike Dynotuned this last weekend at the same place that had the shootout. It's now pulling 105 and feels goods.

They only improved it a bit from the base of 102.3~. they did get a couple more lbs of torque. I'm curious to compare the new PC map with the Dan Kyle map I was running. I have Sato cans but I repacked them about 500 miles ago with the silent sport packing.

Which exhaust do you have?
Can you post screenshots of the maps? (or email the map files and I'll post them up)

Do you know what kind of dyno the guy is using? Mustang, dynojet, etc...

In 1915 T. Roosevelt said, in a speech to the KofC, "There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all. "

If he went to Cycle Barn as seen in the first post it looks like they use a Dynojet. Here's another video with a 1098:
