Rally WV Special Stage 13 - After over 300 miles of racing I slam into a deer on the final stage.
NOTE: This is closed course racing (road is closed to the public) so both sides of the road are fair game. I don't condone crossing the yellows or speeding when on open roads.

Yikes!
We've got an over-abundance of deer up here as well. I'm always on guard and glancing at the shoulders. Thankfully I've been able to spot them before they decide to dart across the road... thus far (and hopefully forevermore).

Seulment and I ran up on a herd of about 10-12 out in the Idaho desert. Middle of the night, standing right in the middle of the road (I think they like to lay on the warm asphalt).

Nothing would make them budge until I blasted my Stebel horn from 15 feet away.

That's great! I think that first guy was Chuck Norris. The second guy was Steven Seagal.

Of the two, I'll take the deer with gear thank you.... I'm not trying to take anything away from the first rider, but I think this is a pretty good comparison of gear v.s. no gear.

This is a good example of guy who knows what it's like to ride off road, get hit by the ground and get up and keep going vs a whining little mama's baby who screams for help every time something goes wrong when he could have prevented it (to some degree) if he had made better choices. God that really pissed me off listening to him scream like a girl until he realized no one could hear him. Then he gets on the phone with his Mom first and whines to her. I would never have called my Mom first in that situation.

Wait, you mean wearing your track shorts and tank top on a motorcycle is bad???? He had his helmet on shouldn't he have been safe and sound?????

I'm surprised he did not put it on youtube with no sound and lots of speed metal in the back ground so as to drown out the screams of help...
